By no means! By the moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
