The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
