The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
