And certainly We have repeated (warnings) in this Quran that they may be mindful, but it does not add save to their aversion. 41 Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): If there were other gods along with Him, as they say, then had they sought a way against the Lord of the Throne. 42 Too glorious and high is He, too exalted for what they say! 43 The seven heavens, the earth, and whosoever in them, exalt Him. There is nothing that does not exalt with His praise, but you do not understand their exaltation. Surely, He is Clement, Forgiving. 44 When you recite the Qur'an, We place a hidden veil between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter; 45 And We placed covers upon their hearts so they may not understand it, and deafness in their ears; and when you mention your Only Lord in the Qur’an, they flee turning their backs in hatred. 46 When they listen to you, We know very well how they listen. When they conspire, when the evildoers declare: 'You are only following a man who is bewitched' 47 Just see how strange are the things they invent about you. They have altogether strayed, and are unable to find the right way. 48 They say, 'What, when we are bones and broken bits, shall we really be raised up again in a new creation?' 49 Say, "[yes] even if you turned to stones or iron, 50 ۞ Or some other created thing which may seem to you most difficult (to create)!" They will then say: "Who will revert us back?" Say: "He who originated you in the first place." They will shake their heads at you and say: "When will that be?" Say: "In the near future, perhaps, 51 on the Day when He will call you and you will rise praising Him in response to His call, and you will believe that you had lain in this state only for a while." 52
