The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 there is no denying its coming 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A multitude of those of old 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and serried acacias, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 Gushing water, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 and raised couches 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
