Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
