Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
