The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In columns outstretched. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
