The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
