The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 As does boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
