Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
