We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
