The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
