WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How many generations have We destroyed before them, who were far greater in riches and more boastful! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
