T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 AND HAS the story of Moses ever come within thy ken? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
