Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59
