Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel, recall My favors which you enjoyed. Fulfill your covenant with Me and I shall fulfill Mine. Revere only Me. 40 And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear. 41 And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]. 42 Attend to your prayers, give the zakat [prescribed alms] and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 Seek help with patience and prayer; this is indeed an exacting discipline, but not to the humble, 45 (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. 46
