Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 And ease my task for me; 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 And share my task, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
