Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
