۞ (It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship. 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 "'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 We had no authority over you, in fact, you were a rebellious people. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 This is how We deal with the criminals. 34 for, behold, whenever they were told, "There is no deity save God," they would glory in their arrogance 35 And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 Round shall be passed a cup unto them filled with limpid drink: 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 "(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?" 53 He saith: Will ye look? 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. 57 Then, are we not to die 58 Other than our first death, and we shall not be punished? 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Then most surely they shall have after it to drink of a mixture prepared in boiling water. 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 And assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients. 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 Not so the chosen servants of God. 74
