Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when thou art relieved, still toil 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
