The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in its long columns of flames. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
