O People who Believe! Do not devour usury doubling and quadrupling it; and fear Allah, hoping that you achieve success. 130 guard yourself against the Fire prepared for those who deny the truth, 131 And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy. 132 ۞ Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- 133 Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others). 134 And who, when they have committed an indecency or have wronged their souls, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven, (for who but God can forgive sins?) and do not knowingly persist in their misdeeds, 135 Their reward will be forgiveness from their Lord and gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of those who labor. 136 There have been many dispensations before you; so travel in the land and see what befell those who denied the truth. 137 This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil) 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If there hath befallen you a sore, a sore like thereunto hath already befallen that people. These are the haps that We change about among mankind, that Allah may know those who believe and may take martyrs from among you; and Allah loveth not the wrong doers. 140 test the faith of the believers, and deprive the unbelievers of (His) blessings. 141 Do you think that you will enter the garden while Allah has not yet known those who strive hard from among you, and (He has not) known the patient. 142 And you used to wish for death before you met it; so now you see it before your eyes. 143
