And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
