▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
