The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
