The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Almighty God's Truth.
