He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED AND turned away, 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 to a rich man, 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 and who has fear of God, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 noble and purified. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what thing hath He created him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 then eased his path for him, 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 and He will resurrect him whenever He wants. 22 Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 to yield therein corn, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 A provision for you and your cattle. 32 At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- 33 Man will fly from his brother, 34 mother, father, 35 wife and sons, 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Some faces that Day will be beaming, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
