The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
