Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
