Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
