Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The Reality (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)! 1 What is the Sure Reality? 2 And what would make you realize what the sure calamity is! 3 Thamud and 'Ad people denied the Qari'ah [the striking Hour (of Judgement)]! 4 Thamood, they were destroyed by the violent shout (of Gabriel), 5 And as for A'ad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind, 6 Which Allah imposed on them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that you could see men lying overthrown (destroyed), as if they were hollow trunks of date-palms! 7 Do you see any vestige left of them now? 8 The Pharaoh, those who lived before him and the people of the Subverted Cities all persisted in doing evil. 9 and rebelled against their Sustainer's apostles: and so He took them to task with a punishing grasp exceedingly severe! 10 Indeed when the water swelled up, We boarded you onto the ship. 11 so that We might make all this a [lasting] reminder to you all, and that every wide-awake ear might consciously take it in. 12 And when the trumpet shall sound a single blast. 13 And the earth with the mountains shall be lifted up and crushed with one crash, 14 On that day shall the great event come to pass, 15 And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. 16 And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. 17 On that day all of you will be brought forth, so none among you wishing to hide will be able to hide. 18 He who is given his ledger in his right hand, will say: "Here, read my ledger. 19 "Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!" 20 Then he shall find himself in a life of bliss; 21 In a lofty garden, 22 The fruit clusters of which are hanging down. 23 (And told:) "Eat and drink to your fill as reward for (good) deeds you had done in days of yore." 24 And as for him who is given his book in his left hand he shall say: O would that my book had never been given me: 25 and had not known my account. 26 Would it had been the end! 27 My wealth has not helped me a thing 28 and our belief has destroyed us". 29 The angels will be told, "Seize and chain them, 30 then throw them into hell to be heated up therein. 31 then fasten him with a chain, seventy cubits long. 32 He did not believe in God the supreme, 33 nor were they concerned with feeding the destitute. 34 Wherefore for him here this Day there is no friend. 35 “Nor any food except the pus discharged from the people of hell.” 36 None shall eat it but the sinners. 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
