Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
