The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
