The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
