And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam; they made obeisance but Iblis (did it not). He was of the jinn, so he transgressed the commandment of his Lord. What! would you then take him and his offspring for friends rather than Me, and they are your enemies? Evil is (this) change for the unjust. 50 ۞ I did not call them to witness at the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor at their own creation; I do not take as My helpers those who lead others astray. 51 The day He will say: "Call those you had called My compeers," they will call them, but will get no response, and We shall place a gulf between them. 52 And the criminals will see the Fire and will be certain that they are to fall therein. And they will not find from it a way elsewhere. 53
