And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
