To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
