Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
