The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
