They ask you about revelation. Say, revelation is by the command of your Lord, and that you have been given but little knowledge. 85 Had We willed, We could take away what We have revealed to you, then you would find none to help you in recovering it from Us. 86 Except as a mercy from thy Lord verily His grace unto thee is ever great. 87 Say, "If all human beings and jinn were to come together to bring the equivalent of this Quran, they could not do so, even if they all were to help each other. 88 Indeed, We have set forth for mankind in this Koran every kind of parable, yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 89 And they say, "We will not believe you until you break open for us from the ground a spring. 90 or you (show) us that you have your own garden of palm trees and vines with flowing streams therein, 91 Or you should cause the heaven to come down upon us in pieces as you think, or bring Allah and the angels face to face (with us). 92 or thou have a house [made] of gold, or thou ascend to heaven - but nay, we would not [even] believe in thy ascension unless thou bring down to us [from heaven] a writing which we [ourselves] could read! Say thou, [O Prophet:] "Limitless in His glory is my Sustainer! Am I, then, aught but a mortal man, an apostle?" 93
