3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
