Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
