Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
