Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
