Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Those who are mindful of their Lord will be rewarded with gardens of bliss. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or have you a Book in which you read 37 That you have surely therein what you choose? 38 Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge? 39 Ask them which of them will vouch for that, 40 Or, do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if what they say is true! 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 I shall grant them some respite, for My plan is powerful. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace. 49 And his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 When it is naught else than a Reminder to creation. 52

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
