We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
