The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
