And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
