When the trumpet is sounded, they will be driven out of their grave into the presence of their Lord. 51 Saying, “O our misfortune! Who has raised us from our sleep? This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the Noble Messengers had spoken the truth!” 52 It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us! 53 So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do. 54 See, the inhabitants of Paradise today are busy in their rejoicing, 55 They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches. 56 They will have fruits and whatever they desire. 57 Upon them will be “Peace” – a Word from their Merciful Lord! 58 And separate yourselves this Day, O ye culprits! 59 ۞ “O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.” 60 And that you should serve Me; this is the right way. 61 Yet he led astray a great multitude of you. Why did you not then understand? 62 This is the Hell that you were promised. 63 Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved. 64 Today We shall seal up their mouths and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to their misdeeds. 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 And had it been Our will [that they should not be free to choose between right and wrong,] We could surely have given them a different nature [and created them as beings rooted] in their places, so that they would not be able to move forward, and could not turn back.] 67
